Not the BEST picture but it's cute. (L-R) Diego, Audrey, Me |
On March 15, prom happened. Our prom's theme was Titanic and the title was "Le Voyage". (Le is so...old but okay.)
(Note: I'm not exactly myself because I'm KIND OF having Post-Prom Depression. Forgive me.)
Last night was absolutely incredible. I have never partied harder and I just had a wonderful time. Aside from dancing with my old friends, I also made new ones which is really good (e.g. Diego is a new friend I made).
Let's start with when we got to the hotel. My date and I waited a while because we got there a wee bit early but there were already enough people. We registered and then we waited again 'til friends came. We lined up in front of the ballroom door and waited for them to open it. It was supposed to open at like 7 but we waited around 15 minutes after 7 and my feet were hurting already. Also, the straps of my heels were coming off.
Finally, the doors opened and we were directed to the right. Audrey and I didn't know our table number and we felt so lost but we were able to get to it eventually (we were standing in front of it). We sat down and waited for the rest of our friends to arrive. While waiting for food, our batchmate along with her band played around 3-4 songs which was cool.
I honestly can't remember what came next but all the performances were great. OUR HOSTS WERE COOL, TOO. We were able to get Boys' Night Out from Magic 89.9 but it was funny because my date is directly connected to RX 93.1, another radio station. My favorite performance among all was probably Airforce, La Salle's dance group because I thought they were gonna get into costumes and stuff but they went on the dance floor in their formal attire like CLASSY MOFOS and I don't know, it was super epic. Especially the end (hihi, if Florida is reading this, you know what I mean).
Food was good but I didn't finish anything. I was very hungry actually but then once we started eating, I felt full right away...weird.
Most of you might think I'd talk about the Prom King and Queen but they were kind of expected so I will talk about/show you our Jack and Rose.

Rose (aka Mariko) and Jack (aka Mariko's date, Matthew who is behind her) |
Aren't they just amazing? SHE'S FLYING, JACK!
Of course, here comes my favorite part. PARTY PARTY! So they opened the dance floor and wow is it great to have your friends' dates be part of Airforce. You feel all the energy. But it wasn't just them that got me dancing. Along with my friends, my date, my friends' dates, we all just started dancing (jumping, really) and had a blast. I cannot tell you how much fun that was. I'm obviously not a party girl but when I party, I party hard.
Our group of people was actually one of the last few groups on the dance floor and in the ballroom which was nice. Because we had rest time. (And countdown time for Audrey's and Florida's birthday.)
After prom, we went to Manila Peninsula for some ice cream, all thanks to Audrey. That too, was fun because 1.) ICE CREAM and 2.) talking with friends is always fun after a party like that, right?
I'll just be putting a few of the many pictures taken by me, Carina, Ino (my date), and more.

Wasn't that fun to look at? Prom was great and it wouldn't have been this awesome without the lovely people above. Thank you so much!
