Fashion Fan: 2014

It's been quite awhile since I last blogged about fashion and it's about time I did again.

2014, so far, has been a pretty good year - both for me and for the world of fashion. I've been watching pretty much all the fashion weeks on Fashion TV and I must say: amazing. There may be a few shows that'll get me questioning some fashion designers but I think that's just me not understanding the art behind the clothes. But overall, I find most of the shows really worth watching, especially if you love fashion as much as I do.

Fashion Fun: Valentino 2013

You're probably asking, "Which season, though? Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer?" I say both.

The Spring collection is simply amazing. The light-colored dresses are pretty much the definition of 'spring' fashion. If I could, I would wear most of the dresses in this collection.

Fashion Fan: The White Pepper

Today, Nylon tweeted "This is @thewhitepepper. We plan on wearing it all summer long." and Hayley Williams (singer of Paramore, if you didn't know) tweeted them back saying how she loved all their - The White Pepper's - stuff. As a fan of Paramore and a fan of Hayley's style, I decided to check them out. And guess who is now a mega-fan of The White Pepper? YOU. I'm kidding. It's me.

As you all know now, I'm a huge fan of sweaters even if my country is the opposite of "sweater weather"-land. Aside from having sweaters, The White Pepper also has a bunch of not-so-cooky-but-still-kind-of-quirky accessories (bags, glasses) and garments (AND SHOES). ALSO! They tweeted me back saying they ship internationally. How kind of them.

Hello there! I've decided to make a new "segment" on my blog because I don't think I've ever emphasized my love for fashion enough. I don't come off as a fashionista but if I had the guts and the money, I'd probably be really fashionable.

First, let me just say that I watch Fashion TV quite a lot. I'm always on the lookout for new runway shows and watching out for my favorite models. Second, I don't actually have a particular style. I can go from hobo chic to boho chic. That's what I do, it's my thing.

Today, I'm going to show you one of my FAVORITE collections of all time: YSL's Fall 2013 collection. It's grunge-y and awesome. Very 90's and Courtney Love-inspired.
