So Long

See you tomorrow. (Credits to Karpos)
July 23 was a glorious day for "Bombaes" in the Metro. Everything was as magical and mystical as I thought it would be and I would just like to tell this story in chronological order because that makes it a lot of fun. I will probably tell this story to my children and my children's children (if I ever have any).

Hello! It's been quite some time (or at least felt like it has) since I last posted something and I'm back!

Yes. The school year has started (in June, actually) and everything's been pretty dandy. It's my first year of college and I've made a ton of new friends and been living on my own (more on this later)!

Awkward

Yesterday, I went to Reg (BEST)'s house along with Drina (BUDS). We were talking about 'bisnis' that's unimportant to most of you so nevermind that.

Basically, we tried to take "fashion"-hipster pictures and we failed miserably. It was an awkward mess filled with strange pauses and lots of laughter.

Two Thousand and Thirteen

The year is coming to an end so I will make the cliché post about how my year went.

(I'd do it by month but I don't really remember each month quite well. This whole year was quite a blur to me.)

My earliest memory of this year just so happens to be prom. I made a post about it and you can just go back to that. But I will say that I'm extremely grateful for that day and for that experience because someway, somehow it made me discover things about myself and my friends. I had tons of fun and if I'd do it again, I wouldn't have changed a thing. Maybe except for my shoes. I'd change those.

2013 was a music-filled year. If you noticed, I had tons of music related posts and I kind of wish 2014 would be the same. We all love music in our own ways and I really can't wait for what next year has in store for us music-wise.

School Sessions: Christmas Break

Well...it's been two months. TWO FREAKING MONTHS since I last updated. How unfortunate. And the only thing to blame is, of course, school.

Although school has been getting in the way, I have not forgotten the many joys and wonders of the internet. I update myself every single day with what's up through Twitter and Facebook, like any old teen would do. Sadly, blogging has been one of the things that I couldn't do because 1. I'd only have time for Twitter and Facebook and 2. I didn't really have anything to blog about anyway.

Rainy Days and Reviewers

My attempt at making my reviewing materials look cool.

So for the past few days, I had my quarterly exams - BEST TIMES OF THE YEAR! (Do you hear me 'whooping' and cheering?) There was actually a storm but we still had to go to school even when most schools had called off classes already.

School Sessions: Week 5

So Week 5 has just ended. Today is Saturday of Week 5 - yes, we have Saturday classes but only because we review for the upcoming college entrance exams.

Nothing eventful has happened this week. The usual stuff went on - long tests, quizzes, stress, etc. I did get 2 merits, though. That counts as something, right?

School Sessions: Week 2

This is the first of "School Sessions" but I'm starting at Week 2. Brilliant.

It is Friday. Today is the last day of Week 2. You don't know how glad I am it's done. And luckily for me and my schoolmates, we have no school on Monday! (It's Manila Day.)

So far, school has been kind - surprisingly. I have been enjoying my subjects. Although, I feel anxious about some things because I'm thinking about every move I make (now that I'm a senior, I've got to be careful), I'm still somehow happy at the end of the day.

Summer Lovin'

Happened so fast.

Yes, I did just quote Grease. And yes, summer is over.

Today is my last day of summer and there is no better way to spend that time doing absolutely NOTHING! I'm not kidding. I'm sitting here at home (IT'S OBVIOUS SHE'S SO OUT OF REACH --- Try Hard by 5 Seconds of Summer) and listening to music, watching Youtube videos, playing Candy Crush just like the rest of my summer days. I'd do a recap of what I did this summer but I didn't do much, as you can see in the sentence above.

I guess I can, however, show you my previous pictures and videos that I tweeted throughout my summer bummin'.

Guess Who's Back

Not that I left...not that anyone noticed I was gone.

I'm kidding! (The sentence above sounded so...lame.) But in all honesty, I did not leave. I've been here the whole time. I just had nothing to blog about and guess what? I STILL DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO BLOG ABOUT.

I have not finished up my film yet because of reasons but I'm REALLY hoping to finish it up and have it developed soon. But that's not really important, seeing that nothing is actually happening to my film and I've been telling you this in like 56587789 posts now. (Sorry for that.)

There hasn't been much going around except for the fact that we went to Tagaytay last Monday, my hair is short, and Glee's season finale happened today. Oh (!) and I got into this anime called Uta no Prince-sama and I can't tell you enough how ~hawt~ the boys are there. If you like anime boys, this one is for you. Believe it! (My inner anime girl says, "Kyaaaa!")

I just want to talk about the Glee season finale for awhile. All I want to say is that I can't believe they did Icona Pop's song because Naya Rivera (Santana) looks exactly like one of the girls of Icona Pop but NAYA WASN'T THE ONE WHO SANG IT. I mean, she's not part of New Directions anymore but....I don't know. I bet Naya knows how much she looks like the girl in Icona Pop.

But that paragraph above was completely unnecessary and you don't even have to read it.

My life is...still boring.

Have a good day!

Memory Lane

As you all know, I've been scanning a bunch of old pictures with my siblings (mostly my sister). I had a post about maybe a month ago called "Scanning..." and I showed you some pictures that I scanned.

Since then, my sister and I looked for more pictures in our parents' room and we found tons! To think, there's more in their cabinet.

So far, I have scanned over 300 pictures and each picture holds a memory to...someone. (Not just me, obviously. Some/most of them don't even have me in them and if I was in them, I was probably a baby.)

Summer Bummer

So the first week of summer has officially passed by.

Damn, it's boring. I mean, last Monday was fun because I got to ride a Penny board for the first time...I'm not that good at it but I've never ridden any board before so don't judge me. And then Tuesday was cool because I got to ride the Penny board again and this time, I actually curved and did not stumble off of it. I also tried Quiznos for the first time.

I'm Flying!

Not the BEST picture but it's cute. (L-R) Diego, Audrey, Me
On March 15, prom happened. Our prom's theme was Titanic and the title was "Le Voyage". (Le is so...old but okay.)

Scanning...

So last week, we got a new printer that happened to be a copier and a scanner. My sister and I were so excited to use it that we started scanning a plethora of old pictures that we liked.

To my dismay, I was not able to scan 2 pictures of my mum that I absolutely adore but hopefully, I'll be scanning those and my OWN pictures soon (talking about my film camera because I haven't started with that).

Filmemma

Okay, so that is obviously not a real word. I just made that up.

Today, I decided to look for our film camera because as said in the previous post, my dad got me film. When I found the camera, I found film already in it and thought that taking pictures would do no harm. I went outside, took pictures of plants and whatnot and went back inside. I asked my mum where to find the number that said how many pictures were left and she told me that it was supposed to say it in the little box thing. When we looked at the little box thing on top, it said "E" and my mum said that meant that it was empty but it was OBVIOUSLY not empty because I checked if there was any film.

And that's what I did wrong. I opened it up and my mum said, "You exposed it to light! Now it's not gonna work!" Silly me. Such a knob.

So that is my dilemma with the film camera. My "filmemma". Luckily, my dad is coming home soon (according to mum) and maybe he can help me get the film out so I could at least put in the new film.

Let this post be a warning. If any of you have a film camera and aren't sure what to do, ask someone who does know what to do before you try anything.

That's all. Bye, crabs!

Promises, Promises

So this post has nothing to do with promises...or maybe it does, I don't really know. All I really have to say is that prom season is here! My prom's in March and it's kind of just dawning on me how close it is (and yet, still so far). I can't say for sure if I'm excited or nervous or just not feeling anything because people talk about it everyday and it gets annoying and I kind of want to get it over with but I like to have the time to think about all the the things that could happen on prom night.

Today, I FINALLY got my prom dress. (I'm one of the few who didn't have her dress made. HIPSTAH PLEASE.) I'm obviously not going to show a picture because that ruins the element of surprise (!). All I'm gonna say is that it's NOT blue (like almost everyone else's), not green (sadly; I kind of wanted green), and that it has 2 colours. It is also NOT a gown even if it was encouraged because our prom's theme is Titanic but I'm a rebel without a cause and I don't care if someone told me that it had to be a gown because I'd probably not be comfortable in one and I'd like to have as much fun as possible - but I was open to wearing a gown, don't get me wrong.

Also, I'm not sure if I already said this in an earlier post but my dad bought me film for our film camera and I can't wait to use it.

I promise (there you go, a promise) to try my best to take pictures and get them developed as fast as I can and hopefully scan them for the next post. And if it isn't in the next post, I am very sorry. School is probably to blame for that.

See 'ya soon, crabs!

Thursday

Today is Thursday.

Today is also Valentine's Day.

Today is also Single/Singles/Single's (?) Awareness Day.

Today was actually a fun day.

And because this is an Instagram picture and I guess I'm a noob, I can't show you the picture but here's the link to it.

If you were too lazy to click the link, I just drew this using my tablet for y'all. It's not as nice as what I drew on my notebook, though.

Hope you all enjoyed Valentine's day the way I DID NOT. (No, I'm not bitter. I'm just a wee bit tired, is all.)

See 'ya next time, crabs!

Old Man

My older brother, Boo, turns 20 today. TWENTAAAAY. He may be 20 but he still acts like the Edmund Pevensie-type of older brother, stuck with his 12-year-old brain.

You all have to understand that I am just not capable of grasping the idea that he is 20. I just can't.

Also, you all must know that my brother told me that he wanted to grow a lumberjack beard (that's what I call it, anyway) but that didn't really push through because in order to grow that much facial hair, he has to keep shaving but he still wants that beard, hence the font.

(Note: I took and edited that picture. I think I posted the original picture before but I'm not sure.)

Also (!), I apologize for not being around so much. I've been awfully busy and I still am quite the busy-body. I haven't had much time to take pictures or whatever and I STILL haven't gotten my second birthday gift...whatever that may be (I have doubts about the lomo camera --- my parents are telling me, "Why not just go for a digicam?" and the stuff they're looking at are kind of...not my thing).

But that's beside the point. The point is: THERE WILL BE CAKE!

'Til the next post, crabs! (You are all crabs now.)
