Summer Lovin'

Happened so fast.

Yes, I did just quote Grease. And yes, summer is over.

Today is my last day of summer and there is no better way to spend that time doing absolutely NOTHING! I'm not kidding. I'm sitting here at home (IT'S OBVIOUS SHE'S SO OUT OF REACH --- Try Hard by 5 Seconds of Summer) and listening to music, watching Youtube videos, playing Candy Crush just like the rest of my summer days. I'd do a recap of what I did this summer but I didn't do much, as you can see in the sentence above.

I guess I can, however, show you my previous pictures and videos that I tweeted throughout my summer bummin'.

South Africa 2013 || Comic Relief

What's up guys? How 'you doing?

Hey there! So it's been a while since I last posted but I have good reasons for that! 1.) LIFE. 2.) I wasn't really sure what to talk about because my life has been pretty boring. 3.) The past 2 days I have had my last exams for the school year and I actually still have two more tests but I am making time now to type this post up.

You must be wondering, "South Africa 2013? She went to South Africa? If she did, why didn't she put it up on that list of why she hasn't been posting? WHY?" (Maybe you're not wondering but okay.) First of all, no. I OBVIOUSLY did not go to South Africa because I just told you that my life has been fairly boring and going to South Africa would definitely be considered as something interesting. Second, if I did go to South Africa, I would've posted something earlier than this (unless I only came back from there like a few days ago, then that's understandable). Lastly, I DID NOT GO TO SOUTH AFRICA WITH JACK AND FINN HARRIES BUT I WISH I DID.

As you can see, the picture above contains the wonderful twins, Jack and Finn from the Youtube channel, JacksGap. They went to South Africa about a month ago and they just posted a video of them doing good deeds over there. If you watch the video, you'll learn that they were invited by Comic Relief, a charity in the UK (famous for having The Wanted, One Direction, and Lawson wearing red noses), to fly to South Africa. There they found about the very bad case of HIV ("very bad case" sounds weird but I'm not exactly sure how to say it) and they're there to try to raise awareness. Such lovely people, they are.

Above is their cheeky new video.

At the end of the video (Oops! Spoilers ahead!), they show a bunch of pictures that they took and let me just say that those photos were absolutely brilliant! I'm not photography expert but their pictures were really something amazing - and I'm not just saying that because I have a super soft spot for these boys - they really have talent.

Here are a few of the pictures that they took:

Jackamo, I love you.
Pretty window effect and cute kid

FIERCE.
Finny Finn Finn
Finn, Will, and Jack with a bunch of cuties
Not one of the pictures but this is from the video. It's perfect.
So there you have it. 'Til the next post! (Also, prom is in like 2/3 days. Not sure what to feel. Hah!)

Girls on Youtube

So I got home today and went by my routine. I turned on the computer, went online on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and checked out Youtube. (This routine is not healthy at all but it is how I live so try not to judge me.) (Note: This was all done AFTER I did my homework. Hah!)

Upon looking at Twitter and Youtube, I noticed that a bunch of my favorite Youtubers (PJ, Alfie, Jack, etc.) all liked this video called "Girls on Youtube" which was an episode of Becoming Youtube by ninebrassmonkeys. It intrigued me because 1. I'm a girl and 2. Ooh, Youtube. I was wondering what it meant. Girls on Youtube? Fangirls? Or Youtubers?

I decided to watch the video because, why not, right? I mean, all I have tomorrow is my last CHEMISTRY long test. No big deal.

ANYWAY...I watched it and it being an episode of Becoming Youtube, it was definitely and obviously awesome. Talk about female empowerment! I love hearing my favorite Youtubers be real and talk about the truth because we get to see how these people really feel and think towards such matters.

The main point of the video was that there aren't enough female Youtubers (vloggers, especially). Most female vloggers are make-up gurus and based on the video, these male vloggers would LOVE for more female vloggers. And this got me thinking....

You all know how much I love Youtube but I don't think I've ever said it on this particular blog how much I've wanted to BE a Youtuber/Youtube star...because I have. I really want to do it, I just never had the guts nor the camera because as much as I think I should start as like a newb to Youtube, I'm not and I don't wanna start with a webcam (I'm picky that way). AND HERE'S MY CHANCE. Sort of. All these amazing people are actually looking for female vloggers and I actually want to be one. I mean, I'll obviously be invisible for a while but I still want to give it a go. And I might not even just vlog. I might do covers, too. Who knows? Not me, hehe.

I'm not telling you all that I will be putting up a channel soon because I still don't have a camera but I definitely would not mind support or advice or suggestions or anything that will help me with this possible Youtube "career".

Above is the video. Enjoy!

Youtube Time!: BriBryOnTour

So that is BertieBertG in BriBryOnTour's new video, Everything.

ISN'T IT AMAZING? I mean, just listen to it. It's so...pretty and wonderful. It's absolutely perfect. (And then there's Bertie and the pretty drawing but that's another thing.)

So BriBryOnTour or just BriBry is a musical/music-type Youtuber but he does vlogs as well, I believe. He's Irish and he's cool. He also sings well (obviously).

I have just fallen in love with most of his songs - because I'm not done watching all of his music videos - and I hope you guys like him, too. And I think he'd very much appreciate it if you guys subscribed to his channel and followed him on Twitter.

Go and enjoy his lovely music like I did!
